You can check in starting from early morning. We recommend though to arrive before 14:00 so you can talk to other guest, get familiar with the place as well as accommodate in your room without a rush. 

Dworek na Błotach is nestled in the picturesque Kashubian region, approximately 70 km (about 1 hour and 15 minutes by car) from Gdańsk Airport. 

Car Rental

Renting a car at Gdańsk Airport offers flexibility and convenience. Major rental companies operate at the airport.

Taxi

In the area of the wedding there is no Uber/Bolt. It should not be a problem to get an Uber from the airport to the Załakowo (around 50 EUR), however to get from the reception back to the airport Taxi should be booked in advance. 

Train from Gdańsk Airport to Kartuzy:

• From Gdańsk Gdańsk Airport (also Gdańsk Główny) railway station, take a train to Kartuzy. Trains depart regularly, and the journey takes about 35 minutes.​ Check the schedule at https://koleo.pl/en/. 

Bus from Kartuzy to Załakowo:

• From Kartuzy, take a local bus towards Sierakowice, stopping in Załakowo. Bus schedules may vary, so check in advance.​ You can also order a taxi or ask someone with a car to give you a lift. It's about 35 minutes (30 km) route.

✈️ 1. Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN)

• Distance from Załakowo: ~40 km

• Travel Time: 45–60 minutes by car

• Details: The nearest and most convenient international airport. It offers regular flights to and from major European cities.

✈️ 2. Bydgoszcz Ignacy Jan Paderewski Airport (BZG)

• Distance from Załakowo: ~143 km

• Travel Time: 2–2.5 hours by car

• Details: A smaller regional airport with a few international connections. It may be useful if you're flying from specific destinations.

✈️ 3. Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW)

• Distance from Załakowo: ~400 km

• Travel Time: 4.5–5 hours by car or ~3.5 hours by train (to Gdańsk, then car to Załakowo)

• Details: Poland’s largest airport with extensive international connections. A good option for guests coming from outside Europe.

In Poland, it’s traditional to give money, flowers, sometimes a gift. We kindly ask that you do not bring flowers or physical gifts — we would prefer monetary gifts instead. However, if you’d like to bring something thoughtful, please consider donating pet food for the local animal shelter in place of flowers. Your presence and support mean the most to us!

No, we do not plan to book a transportation, however we would be happy to help you arrange yours. Please contact us in case of any troubles.

The dress code is cocktail attire. The ceremony will take place outdoors—weather in the area can vary, but it should be between 20–30°C, so we recommend dressing comfortably and checking the forecast in advance.

Kindly avoid wearing white or off-white, as those colors are reserved for the bride. Thank you for understanding!

Yes, kids and +1 are welcome! Please let us know in advance.

Yes, on Friday the breakfast will be served from 9:00-12:00.
For the Guests arriving on Wednesday there is a breakfast on Thursday morning.

Breakfast is included per room, no additional charge. 

The wedding party will go on late into the night! Most guests will likely head to bed around 1–2 AM, but the celebration could continue until 5 AM for the night owls.

We've arranged accommodation for all guests at the wedding venue, so everyone can stay together and enjoy the celebration comfortably. If you'd like to stay to night before please let us know - the day before is not included, however we will be happy to help you arrange it. 

Yes! We’ll have a full dinner and drinks at the reception, including vegetarian and non-alcoholic options. Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary needs. If you're vegetarian/vegan please let us know in advance.

This is a Polish tradition where we continue the celebration the next day — in a laid-back, relaxed atmosphere. Expect good food, drinks, and great company. You’ll also have access to the sauna, outdoor jacuzzi, and pool, so pack a swimsuit if you'd like to join the chill zone. 

We start at 13:00 in the Natura & Spa section of Dworek na Błotach.

On the day after the wedding, we’ll continue celebrating with a relaxed gathering that will last until around 8:00 PM. You're welcome to join us for as long as you’d like—feel free to leave whenever it suits your plans. There's no set departure time.
